The importance of the zero setting when the differential pressure transmitter measures the liquid level :


When the differential pressure transmitter is measuring the liquid level, it is necessary to set the zero position. 

This is a very important link. When the high pressure side and low pressure side of the transmitter are linked 

with the high voltage and low pressure side of the local measuring cylinder, the link is consistent. 


When the high pressure side pressure guiding tube is always in a state of full water, the pressure measured 

by the high pressure end of the transmitter is P+kPa, and the low pressure side of the transmitter is connected 

with the low pressure side pressure guiding tube, and the measured pressure is P-kPa. Then, the actual 

differential pressure measured by the transmitter is (P+ - P-) kPa. When the liquid level of the container is low,

 the differential pressure value is large, corresponding to the internal setting of the transmitter LRV, that is, 

the zero position of the transmitter. At this time, the output current of the transmitter is 4 mA, and the liquid 

level of the container is high, the differential pressure value 0, corresponding to the internal setting of the

 transmitter URV, which is the fullness of the transmitter, at this time the transmitter output current is 20mA.


When the high side and low side of the transmitter are connected to the high side and low side of the local 

measuring tube, the internal setting of the transmitter needs to be modified to set the LRV of the transmitter

 to (P- - P+) kPa, that is, no matter how the transmitter is connected with the pressure guiding tube, the fullness 

of the transmitter corresponds to the full water level of the measuring container, the differential pressure is always

 0, then the fullness URV of the transmitter is 0 kPa. The output current is 20mA. When the high voltage side of 

the transmitter is connected to the high voltage side of the pressure guiding tube, the transmitter zero position

 LRV is set to the large difference value of the Zui, when the high voltage side of the transmitter is connected to

 the low voltage side of the pressure guiding tube. When the transmitter zero LRV is set to a negative value of the

 large differential value of zui.
